Warrenty Policy 

Subwoofers Policy

From the date of original purchase and for the respective period, subwoofer manufactures repair or replace all products, which are defective in material and/or workmanship. This warranty is not transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the product. No Exceptions. It is the manufactures right to decide if a product will be repaired or replaced.

All returns must be sent with an RA # on the outside of the box. Any and all products sent without a RA will be refused. An RA # can be obtained by calling Dtp Custom Cars and requesting the number.

Warranty claims must be accompanied by the original invoice to validate the warranty service.

This warranty does not apply with respect to the following:

  • DC Audio’s warranty does not cover burned/open voice coils or lead wires, ripped surrounds or folded cones. These are all immediate signs of abuse/over powering.

  • It does not cover mis-mounting cast aluminum frames by mounting them inverted and snapping them. DC Audio frames are not designed to be mounted inverted.

  • It does not cover products driven over their mechanical limits.

  • Defects or damage caused by accident, fire, flood, and lightning or other acts of God.

  • Defects or damage caused by abuse, misuse, or negligence.

  • Products with voice coils that have failed due to excessive power levels or clipping, i.e. burned or open coils or lead wires.

  • Damage caused during shipping or handling. These claims are made with the Freight Company.

  • Accessories or anything else attached to or to be used with DC Audio products.

  • Products that have their serial numbers removed or altered.

  • Packing materials i.e. card board boxes, foam inserts, corners, peanuts, etc.

  • Adjustments or alterations required for any reason.

  • Items subject to fatigue through normal wear and use.

  • Product, which has been altered or repaired by anyone other than DC Audio.

Amplifiers Policy

Amplifiers will not be covered under warranty if ran below their rated ohm load or if underpowered in any way. Manufactures has a "Recommended for Installation" section on each amplifier's web page. These need to be followed in order to ensure the amplifier will operate properly. Failure to do so can decrease the life of the amplifier and void your warranty.

Return Policy

  • Special Order products are FINAL SALE and cannot be refunded or exchanged. If you are ordering a Special Order product, please ensure the product you have selected is correct prior to purchase.


  • All delivery, installation, labor charges, custom accessories, professional set-up fees, and third party fees are not refundable..

  • All Car Install labor that is purchased and not used, is only valid as a credit for 1 (one) year from the date of purchase.

  • Cancellation notice of Car Install bookings must be confirmed 24-48 hours’ prior to the install date in order to qualify for a refund.

  • All Car Audio Bookings that customers are a No Show are valid as a credit for 6 (six) months, from date of original install date , to obtain a re-booking installation, under the condition that upon rebooking if there is changes in material cost, that customer pays the differences.


-All in-store purchases and online purchases

Customers may return unopened/ factory sealed items within 15 days of purchase/delivery for a refund.

-shipping and handling charges are non-refundable

installation charges are non-refundable.

Processing Refunds

   Purchases will be refunded to the original method of payment, except for cash which will be refunded to either a debit card, credit card, cheque, or in-store credit. 

    Refunds credited to some credit cards and debit cards may take 1-10 business days for processing before the returned funds will appear on your card statement, but this will depend on your card provider.

Restocking Fee

A restocking fee may apply for any refund or exchange if the product is not in "like new" condition, including all packaging and accessories. We reserve the right to refuse a refund or exchange or charge a restocking fee for any item that does not meet the requirements of our return policies.
